Chocolate Chip Doughnuts

Oh these babies are DOUGHY and contain a secret healthy ingredient! 😉 They are SO easy to make, requiring most ingredients you already have on hand. Run, don’t walk to make these!
Ingredients:
- 15 ounce can of garbanzo chickpeas
- 2 TBSP peanut butter
- 1/2 cup maple syrup
- 1 TBSP coconut oil
- 1/4 cup coconut flour
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 tsp baking powder
- Desired amount of chocolate chips (I used enjoy life allergen free)
- Additional 1 TBSP of chocolate chips and 1 TBSP coconut oil for chocolate drizzle
*If your dough is too thick, use a splash of preferred milk to lighten the consistency!
Directions:
1. Set oven to 350 degrees.
2. Wash and drain chickpeas.
3. Combine all ingredients, into a food processor and blend on high speed until fully combined. Save some chocolate chips to top doughnuts with!
4. Scoop batter into a donut pan, top with more chocolate chips and bake for 12-15 minutes.
5. Allow doughnuts to cool before topping with chocolate drizzle.
6. Microwave 1 TBSP coconut oil and 1 TBSP chocolate chips for 30 seconds until chocolate is melted.
7. Drizzle on top of doughnuts!
