Healthy Mini Chocolate Chip Cookies

The simplest, healthy mini chocolate chip cookies! My favorite thing about these cookies is if you want to skip the chocolate chips and add in something else you totally can without the entire recipe changing or taste changing!
EIGHT ingredients & EIGHT minutes!!!
These are freezer safe & will stay good in the fridge for up to a week. They are the ABSOUTLE perfect little sweet bite!
Ingredients:
· 1 cup white flour (3/4 cup if you prefer whole wheat)
· ½ tsp baking powder
· 4 ounces unsweetened applesauce
· ¼ cup coconut sugar (or any natural sugar…maple syrup, honey, agave, etc.)
· 3 TBSP creamy peanut butter
· 1 tsp ground cinnamon
· 1 tsp vanilla extract
· Chocolate chips to add to tops of cookies (or you preferred topping)
Directions:
1. Set oven to 350.
2. Combine applesauce, peanut butter and vanilla. Mix well.
3. Add in flour, baking powder, coconut sugar and cinnamon. Combine to create dough. Dough will be thick and sticky in texture. If too thick, you can add a little milk of your choice.
4. Spoon onto baking pan and press chocolate chips into tops of cookies.
5. Bake for 8 minutes. DO NOT OVERCOOK!
