Sugar Cookie Bars

Making food for my family and friends brings me SO much joy! You will hardly ever catch me bringing a store bought dish to a party.
In fact, when I know I am responsible for bringing a dish to a party, it gives me even more motivation to create up a new delicious recipe!
These sugar cookie bars will be tagging along during the Fourth of July festivities this weekend ;).
Only a few ingredients, delicious and STILL HEALTHY YA’LL!
Ingredients:
- 2 flax eggs (or two whole eggs)
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 1 cup flour
- 1/3 cup almond/coconut milk
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 2/3 cup applesauce
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 tsp almond extract
*Can use desired frosting but I used cool whip here!*
Directions:
1. Set oven to 350 degrees.
2. Make flax eggs by combining 2 TBSP ground flax with 6 TBSP water and let sit until you have a gel-like consistency.
3. Begin combining all ingredients. Once flax eggs are ready, add in and mix well.
4. Add to an 8 X 8 baking dish and bake for 25 minutes.
5. Frost with desired frosting once cool.
