Apple Cider Donuts with Brown Butter Frosting

Oof save your appetite for these babies! They are OH SO PERFECT. The texture, the taste, the clean ingredients, the ease of baking them… just everything!
My daughter & man (& friends) devoured them all in one day needless to say, a second batch is coming right up!
Seriously, nothing puts you in your Thanksgiving feels like apple cider donuts do! So go do yourself the favor & RUN to go make these!
Ingredients for Donuts:
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup apple cider
- 2 TBSP coconut oil
- 1 & 1/4 tsp baking powder
- 1/4 cup coconut/almond milk
- 1 & 1/2 tsp ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup coconut sugar
- 3 TBSP unsweetened applesauce
Ingredients for Frosting:
- 2 TBSP butter
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 1 tsp ground cinnamon
Directions:
1. Set oven to 350 degrees.
2. Combine all dry ingredients for donut batter & mix well.
3. Add in wet ingredients for donut batter.
4. Once combined, pour into a greased donut pan & bake for 8 minutes.
5. While baking, melt your butter in a microwave safe bowl.
6. Combine coconut sugar & cinnamon with melted butter and stir well.
7. Once donuts are removed from the oven, immediately spread brown butter mixture on top & let cool.
8. Once cooled for 10-15 minutes, ENJOY the heck out of them!
