Here is the perfect spin to your Thanksgiving cornbread! This cornbread is easy to whip up, packs all the flavor & made with all the good-for-you ingredients.

So there you have it–the perfect dish to bring along with you or provide for your family this Thanksgiving! 


Ingredients: 

  • 1 cup cornmeal 
  • 1 cup white flour 
  • 1/2 cup canned creamed corn 
  • 3 TBSP melted coconut oil 
  • 2 eggs 
  • 2 tsp baking powder 
  • 1 tsp baking soda 
  • 1/3 cup honey 
  • 1/4 cup coconut milk 
  • 1 finely chopped jalapeño 

Directions: 

1. Set oven to 350 degrees 

2. Combine all dry ingredients & make they are mixed together well 

3. Slowly add in wet ingredients one by one with the exception of the jalapeño

4. Once your batter is formed, slowly fold in jalapeño pieces. 

5. Add to a greased 8 X 8 baking dish and bake for 20-25 minutes. 

6. Remove from oven and drizzle a little extra honey on top. ENJOY!
