Chocolate Banan Donuts with Peanut Butter Frosting

Plus its got the best combo–chocolate, peanut butter & banana
I turned these into donuts, but if you do not have a donut pan you can easily turn these into muffins. They are prefect to bring to an event, dinner party or to have around the house for your everyday healthy snacking! 🙂
Ingredients:
- 2 large ripe bananas
- 1/2 cup white flour
- 1/3 cup cocoa powder
- 1/4 cup coconut sugar
- 1/4 cup coconut milk
- 1/2 tsp baking powder
- 2 eggs
- 1/4 tsp baking soda
- 1/4 cup PB2 + 2 TBSP coconut milk (for frosting)
- Desired amount of mini chocolate chips to top donuts with
Directions:
1. Set oven to 350 degrees
2. Mash bananas in a large bowl
3. Combine flour, cocoa powder, coconut sugar, coconut milk, eggs, baking powder & baking soda. Mix well until fully combined.
4. Grease a donut (or muffin) pan and pour batter into donut/muffin molds.
5. Bake for 10-12 minutes.
6. While muffins are baking, combine PB2 and 2 TBSP of coconut milk until a thick frosting-like paste is formed.
7. Once muffins are removed from oven, let cool for at least 20-30 minutes before topping with frosting.
8. Add chocolate chips on top of peanut butter frosting & ENJOY!
